Feng Shui Office Interiors – How to Use Feng Shui in Your Office Interiors

The furniture and other items that you select for your office, especially your chair and desk can have powerful effects on your ability to be prosperous and successful. When you are setting up your office it may be tempting to use any old furniture that you have laying around, but this is not a good way to start out.

When it comes to selecting the best desk for your feng shui office, a large desk represents an energetic room for growing and expanding your thoughts. But if your furniture is too large for the space, it will stop the chi or energy from flowing and therefore can stop your business from flowing.

A desk chair that can be adjusted to suit you and your height is the best choice. The office chair should be stable and offer good arm and back support. The office chair represents the support and foundation and it needs to be in good shape. Make sure it is adjustable to the area of your work space to ensure the best comfort level.

Even though the office furniture that you select is suited to the kind of work you do, it is representative of you and you do not have to have the space feel like an office in order to do business. You can add personal touches to your office and feng shui elements to promote positive energy and the flow of chi throughout your office.

It is good to have windows in your office, if it does not, try to hang up posters of landscapes that include horizons that will give the illusion of you being able to see in the distance. If you have an unattractive view of the outside, you should try to keep the blinds closed.

Creating feng shui elements in your office can help your business grow and promote positive chi or energy to flow.
