Lot 10 Shopping Center, Kuala Lumpur
Bintang Walk is Kuala Lumpur’s shopping and entertainment district and Lot 10 shopping mall is a prominent landmark here. It has a bright green façade and the center houses almost 100 shops and boutiques. The Lot 10 shopping center is considered slightly up market when compared to similar departmental stores in the same district. Isetan is anchor tenant of this complex and there are number of international brands here which do brisk business. Other stores include Guess, Body Shop, Calvin Klein, British India, G2000, and Esprit among others. In 2010 British retailer Debenhams will open a store here.
The Lot 10 shopping center is very trendy and glamorous and is a major hit among the teenagers. There are a number of food outlets at Lot 10 for the youngsters to hang around. There are trendy cafes like Dome Café, Café Societe and popular Delifrance. These are perfect places to take a break from your shopping spree. The food court is available on the ground floor where you can get good meals at affordable prices.
Lot 10 owes its popularity to the fact that it offers fine balance between shopping and dining. Since it is right in the middle of Bintang Walk tourists can actually visit this place while roaming around the nearby attractions. The Sungei Wang Plaza is right across the street and the Starhill Gallery is just beside Lot 10. Thus it commands a very good position for attracting both tourists and locals. There is nothing shabby about this place and the prices of the products too are perfect.Last year Nicky Hilton and William Rast by Justin Timberlake opened the flagship stores keeping in mind the Malaysian market. As discussed earlier, Debenhams will open a 3 storey departmental store next year. This will be a big boost for the shopping center and should augment the footfall furthermore.
