There are very few diving destinations in the world, which can be compared to the exclusive diving sites of Krabi, Thailand. The gorgeous underwater world of Krabi is full with a variety of limestone crops, lustrous soft coral and plenty of marine life. There are several beautiful spots at Krabi, which are ideal for diving and snorkeling.
This stunning small port town of Krabi is located on the west coast of Southern Thailand, near the mouth of the Krabi River into the Andaman Sea. Nearby islands of Podah Nai and Nok are quite popular diving spots. However, the most popular and famous diving destination of Krabi, is the beautiful Ko Phi Phi Island.

The Anemone reef is a magnificent dive site, where a massive limestone crop is located. The reef is well known for the abundance of sea anemones attached to it. Shark Point is another popular diving spot, which is the place for a marine sanctuary. Here the limestone reef has formed three pinnacles and it is also the favorite place for different types of fish, soft corals and bright sea fans.
Ko Lanta is located within a short distance form Krabi town and it is also popular to the divers. The Ko Lanta Islands consist of 15 small islands and each one of them is a natural paradise. The white sandy beach of Ko Lanta Yai is ideal for relaxing and there are several beautiful diving spots surrounding the island, where you can enjoy amazing marine life, fringing reefs, caves etc.
Near to Ko Lanta, two famous diving locations are Hin Daeng and Hin Muang. Whereas Hin Daeng is famous for the deepest diving point, the underwater ground of Hin Muang is completely covered with beautiful violet coral.
Gareng Heng limestone crop and the Ko Ha group of islands are also known for their exciting diving locations within easy reachable distance of Krabi.
