Dog Allergies: Symptoms, Prevention And Treatment
Your dog can suffer from different types of allergies and that too those which are difficult to determine. Food allergies are especially very intricate to find out. This is for the reason that dogs are most of the time, allergic to only one ingredient and not to a specific kind of diet.

This makes him resist that particular allergy. This process is somewhat similar to that of vaccination. Young dogs react in a much better way to the process of Hypo sensitization. Likewise, in case of Synotic and crticosteroidotic preparation is used in case of inflammation in ears. Antihistamines are used to cure ear infections.
The best way to go about when your dog is prone to allergies is to get an intra-dermal skin testing done. This test can be done by a Vet doctor. The accuracy of this test is rated about 70- 80%.
Warnings
• Only a single or two fleas are enough for setting off an allergy to fleas.
• There are some breeds in dogs that are specifically prone to allergies. For example, a purebred dog is much more prone to allergies than ay other dog. So while you buy a purebred dog, ask the breeder if the parents were suffering from any kind of allergies.
• Never apply any flea products over the skin of your dog which is already broken. Chemicals will aggravate further irritation.
