Natural Resistance to Alopecia, the Hair Loss Disease

Vitamin B6 prevents hair loss and gives hair its color by creating melanin. Source of vitamin B6 is meat, whole grains, egg yolks etc. Another essential thing for hair growth is calcium. Milk, curd, yogurt, fish, lentils, nuts are good source of calcium. Add shellfish, liver, chickens, beans in you diet to get enough copper which prevents hair loss. Silica strengthens the hair root.  Soybeans, sea foods, rice are good sources of soybean. Thyroid diseases are one of the reasons of excessive hair loss or alopecia. Control your thyroid by taking iodine rich food such as kelp, seaweed, iodized salt garlic and have healthy hair.
