Natural Cure for Open Pores

open poresOpen pores or enlarge pores; many of us suffer from these due to various reasons such as heredity or poor skin care habits. If the open pores are not treated these can leave the skin susceptible to acne and skin imperfections. The open and enlarged pores are prone to dirt and grime.

There is no permanent way to close open pores but using a good toner after the cleansing of face helps to close the pores temporarily. Applying foundation helps in hiding the open pores; it also helps in acting as a shielding layer between the skin and pollutants. Tomato is also a good toner which aids in shrinking the pores. Applying tomato juice regularly on the face helps in shrinking the pores by reducing the sebum production in the skin making the pores appear smaller.

Papaya fruit can be mashed and applied on the face for about twenty minutes; wash off with lukewarm water.

The simplest method of reducing the open pores in a jiffy is to rub a piece of ice cube on the skin. The cold of the ice cube shrinks the size of the pore instantly.

Do not consume foods that are high in fats and spices. Foods that are rich in fat and spices make the body secrete more of oil making the skin pores to appear bigger. Drink lots of water to keep the body hydrated.

Mix some lemon juice and egg whites, and heat the mixture slowly for about twenty seconds. Allow the mixture to cool and then apply on the face and leave it on till it dries. Wash off with lukewarm water to get smaller pores.

Use fuller’s earth to reduce the size of open pores. It is an excellent facial toner. Make a paste Fuller’s earth and clean water and apply this paste on your face. Allow to dry. Wash off pat the face dry with a soft towel.
