Tekken 6: Promises To Preserve Its Legacy
After the release of Tekken 6 on October 27, 2009 for Xbox 360 consoles and PS-3, the game will be released on November 24, 2009 for PSP as well. The game is sequel to Tekken 5 and Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection that have already caught huge fan following for the fighting series. The game director Katsuhiro Hirada, has revealed that the stages in Tekken 6 will be much bigger and better. Other than this, there will also be much interactive asset. Features like floors and walls can also be broken and new fighting areas can also be revealed. Features such as character customization have also been enhanced. With these new added features Tekken 6 is expected to be a great hit between various fighting series.
Tekken series from Namco Bandai is going to be the first game to be released on PlayStation 3 console. A better an updated version was also released in 2008 and was named Tekken 6 : Bloodline Rebellion. The game had also featured great character and stages. It was in Tokyo game show that took place in the year 2008 an announcement regarding release of PlayStation and Xbox version of the game was announced. It is since then the game’s release is being awaited in 2009. A version for PSP will be available from November 24 2009.
Katsuhiro Harada who is the executive producer and developer for Tekken 6 has revealed that the number of characters that will be playing in the game will be far more in number and response than that present in Tekken 5. He had been working with the Tekken series for at least 10 years and this time he has worked very hard to make sure that each character in the game is unique and it essentially does not overlap with other characters. The uniqueness is not just about their appearance but also about the techniques they use and their personality. The total number of characters in Tekken 6 will be around 43. Online help for the game will also be available if somebody wants to seek assistance. The game by all means boasts of preserving its legacy.
