The famous Dennis Hopper, a popular actor among people of all age groups and with a huge fan following was recently in New York for the publicity of his new TV series “Crash”. However during the process he had to be taken to the hospital. He had developed certain flu-like symptoms, and care and examination from the doctors became necessary before the situation progressed to become worse.

Sheila Feren said that Hopper was now being examined in an unidentified hospital situated in the city of New York. He had complained of some stomach ailments and other symptoms which are usually associated with flu. Everybody associated with the star is now very worried. Hopper, who is now seventy-three, is known to have a charming personality and being a charismatic star. His performances in “Easy Rider” and “Blue Velvet” were commendable and were appreciated by the audience a lot.

Due to the sudden illness and emergency, Hopper’s schedule and other commitments went upside down. He had to cancel a lot of interviews and some TV appearances too. These included even that of the Associated Press, “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon” and “Today”. Jack McBrayer of “30 Rock” replace Hopper in “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon”

Hopper is as of now working on his latest project “Crash,” which happens to the TV version of the Oscar-winning 2004 film. Hopper’s role is very interesting and he plays the maniacal sorts music producer Ben Cendars on the show, which is being aired on the Starz network.

Hope he recovers soon from his illness and gets back to work soon. His fans love him and miss him, and there are dedicated watchers of the series who were very upset when they got to know about Hopper’s hospitalisation, who has impressed them all with his great performances on-screen.
