Big B, the superstar, and the brand name in itself is amazed at the rising of the tall and beautiful Katrina Kaif. Amitabh Bachchan, filled with admiration for Kats dear, while writing on his blog shared his experience about his first encounter with the young actress.

He still remembers how Katrina was stopped by the director of the film Boom (Katrina’s first in the Indian film industry) who had “total control” cover the cast, from seeing herself in the monitor while she was shooting for the film. Like any other new comer, Katrina’s desire to see herself on screen was natural, and luckily for her, it was noticed by none other than Amitabh Bachchan. As the director didn’t let her fulfil her wish, Amitabh Bachchan took her to the monitor. That is when she had the first experience of what she actually looked like on screen. Big B feels really nice about the fact that Katrina still remembers that moment, and poked him at an award function to remind him how they had actually met before.

Amitabh Bachchan had a wonderful experience with Katrina while shooting for Sarkar, where she plays Junior B’s (Abhishek Bachchan) love interest. One incident that he recalls is that of Mr. Bachchan inviting everybody in the cast and crew of the film for dinner post the shoot in Dubai. He even asked everyone to have a small tour of the city at night. It was at that point that Katrina, and everybody else had to face embarrassment. The bouncer at a club thought that Katrina was underage, and hence he refused to let her enter.

Big B, while writing on his blog also commented on her rapid growth in Bollywood. Bachchan is both surprised and happy to see her climbing the ladder of success. Starting from a small role in Sarkar to the most Googled and popular star on the list of popular celebrities, Katrina Kaif has gone a long way within a very short period of time. Indeed, she has a lot in store for her; with her being even more popular after films such as Singh is King, Welcome, Humko Deewana Kar Gaye etc.
