swimsuitSwimsuits are great to flatter your body. Whether it’s a one-piece or a bikini, it never fails to bring out the best features in you. But do you know what type of swimsuit does the best job at flattering your body type. It’s not just the pattern and the color you must think of before buying a swimsuit. Considering your body type and your body frame is just as important. So we are here to give you some pointers on the perfect swimwear style that compliments your body type.

Torso – Whether it’s a small torso or a big one, it can be easily camouflaged by going for a striped swimsuit. Horizontal stripes do a great job at hiding a short torso and a vertical one for a longer torso.

Girls with short torso are at a great advantage if you are a fan of those cute and frilly swimsuits as this one seems to be made just for you! Bandeau tops also go great for a body with a short torso

As for body with longer torso, halter-tops and sports top are the best option for you.

Short legged – If you don’t have legs long enough to flaunt, you can just create the effect by going for a one piece suit. Always buy something that gets the onlooker’s attention away from your legs. Try to avoid shorts and skirts for the bottom since, again, they would draw attention towards your legs.

Long body - All you need to go for is anything that brings down the height of your body. Go for a swimsuit with horizontal strips. Bikini would be the best option for you, but if you are more into one piece, you can go for cut-outs on the sides. You also have an option for embellishments, especially around the hip line.

Bulged belly - Yes, there is a great option to cover up the bulge too. Of course, a bikini is not an option for you, but you can try anything that draws more attention to your bust line. You can also go for darker colors that camouflages you belly.

Wide hips and thick thighs – Now this is definitely not something you might want to flaunt. So, instead of the regular bikini bottom, you can go for skirts or shorts instead.
