Going about Cheek hues the Right Way

27 October, 2009, Makeup - No Comment

huesA makeup is never complete without a glowing shade of cheek hues. Not only do they acentuate the cheek bones perfectly but also efficiently cover those faults on face that, unlike the other goddesses of beauty, us lesser mortals always have to worry about.

Now again, like all the other beauty products, here comes the most common problem that most women face – choosing the right shade and the right product. Of course, a problem that’s worse than this would probably that you never realize even when you have so gloriously opted the wrong hue. And this of course, calls for some assistance. If you belong to one of these categories, it’s about time you get your facts about the cheek hues down.

Tips to apply

So, when you’re dealing with beauty products of these line, the first thing you got to do is to pack away your brushes and use the magic of your fingers to first blend in the gloss. This must not be done with the brushes if you are going for a natural look.

So all you have to do is, brush or sweep out a little amount of the hues with your fingers and sweep it over your cheeks towards the eyes from the bottom. But before you do this, make sure you recognize the hollow region of the face and appropriately start applying in those areas. You can also use the blusher brush or professional make-up sponge to get this done.

For dry or normal skin, you might want to apply it around the forehead region as well to balance out the look. The oily skin, on the other hand, demands powder blush mixed with the hues.

There are several colors that you can go for according to the kind of effect you want to get. If you’re going for a bolder and a dramatic look, you might have to go for colors like the gold or scarlet. No, this is not something only the run-way models might use. With the right amount of shade in the right places, this gives an amazingly dramatic effect to your face. Not to mention the obvious glow it spreads over your face.

If you’re going for a milder look, look out of rose and pink colors that never fails to give the perfect delicate look.
