hair-brushHave you ever paid attention towards choosing a right hair brush for you daily use? Well, a hair brush is so much a part of your daily needs that you often forget its importance. A wrong hairbrush can not only damage your hair but also affect your styling. So to avoid the unwanted hair problems and get a perfect hairstyle, you must take care to get a suitable hair brush. At the same time, you should also know the technique of using your brush properly.

Here are some tips for choosing and using a hair brush:

How to Choose a Correct Hair Brush

A universal rule that you must consider while buying a brush is to look for a tight grip. Generally, the brushes with a light-weight wooden or rubber handle offer a superior grip. Check the bristles for roundness and make sure that the edges are even. The ones that are coated with fine and smooth rubber tips are highly recommended for rough and dry hair types.

Remember that you require different brushes for different needs. While a big toothed brush or comb is needed to detangle the wet hair, the one with protective bristles is ideal for short hair. Choose a paddle brush if your hair is straight and a large one in case of curly tresses.

How to Use a Hair Brush Perfectly

The best way to brush your hair is to follow the firm strokes that help increase the blood circulation. If the hair is too tangled, use a wide tooth comb before brushing and always divide the hair for smooth and better results. Especially in case of long hair, never try to brush in a single stroke. Set the desired styles by using your brush tactfully but don’t try something that you are not sure of.

At last, never share your brush with anyone or you will be at the risk of catching scalp infections and hair problems. Also take care to ensure proper hygiene by washing the brush everyday. If you don’t have time to clean it daily, wash it thoroughly with soapy water every Sunday and also use an antiseptic to make it bacteria-free.
